About Ong king arts center
Ong King Arts Center has been in Hawaii for almost 13 years, and have recently moved to the ground level of the historic Fort Street Mall. In the past decade, Ong King Arts Center has served to be an incubator for a variety of artists seeking to further their craft. From music, dance to visual arts and more, the discerning artist finds among its patrons a kindred spirit and in its halls a place of sanctuary.
The primary mission of Ong King Arts Center is to provide a space for artists of all medium to express, experiment and connect with the rest of community. Most artists feel that this space allows them to push the boundaries of their medium, instead of having to cater to a particular market. One of the most beloved events held in the space every Sunday night - Ong King Open Mic, has encouraged innumerous artists, musicians, poets and lovers of these medium to express themselves in the past decade.
